Job description

Walter Everett is a specialist recruitment agency and we are currently supporting our client in the search for a talented and driven Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Glasgow.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
Technology Administration and Operations
  • Deliver accurate and timely support for queries, incidents, events and change requests.
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure and resolve issues.
  • Respond to and recover from incidents in line with service level agreements.
  • Carry out configuration tasks in compliance with technical and security policies.
  • Participate in an on‑call rota to ensure 24x7 operational support.
Software Management
  • Perform maintenance on systems including patching and version updates.
  • Support audits and capacity planning activities.
  • Analyse and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Project Support
  • Assist with project‑related infrastructure changes and modernisation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for design, build and operational procedures.
  • Support environment automation to streamline deployments and configurations.
