Job description

Alexander Steele are working with an established food manufacturing business in North Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Technical Services Coordinator to join their technical team.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain food safety risk assessments, including HACCP, allergen management, and vegan/vegetarian controls, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Conduct gap analyses against customer, retailer, and NGO standards, supporting the implementation of food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the site's food safety and quality management system, updating and document‑controlling procedures, work instructions, and records
  • Maintain the internal audit schedule, ensuring audits are completed to plan and corrective actions are implemented effectively
  • Investigate trends in analytical and finished product performance, reporting insights to relevant departments to drive improvements
  • Support technical, production, and quality teams to ensure compliance with customer expectations and legal standards
On Offer
  • Up to £40,000 annual salary (dependent on experience)
  • Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
