Qualifications

• Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication and/or multi-disciplined engineering.
• Ability to manage and grow a team of estimators.
• Experience in sales, business development, and account management.

• Generate precise manufacturing cost estimates from customer drawings.
• Monitor delivery lead times and coordinate sub-contract support.
• Engage with sub-contract suppliers as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Generate precise manufacturing cost estimates from customer drawings.
• Monitor delivery lead times and coordinate sub-contract support.
• Develop comprehensive labor and material costing, creating full routing information.
• Engage with sub-contract suppliers as needed.
• Input all data into the system to produce full quotations for the sales department.
• Monitor enquiries, engage directly with customers and end users, and resolve queries.
• Work closely with internal departments to expedite progress.

Experience & Qualifications

• Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication and/or multi-disciplined engineering.
• Ability to have technical discussions and sell WEC’s capabilities.
• Understand RFQs and technical drawings, providing practical design guidance.
• Experience in sales, business development, and account management.
• Ability to manage and grow a team of estimators.
• Read fabrication drawings and complete complex quotations accurately.
