Technical Sales Engineer (Facades / Specifications)

£45,000-£55,000 basic + bonus (15% of salary, paid quarterly) + car/allowance + 33 days' holiday + health cash plan

The Role

Technical Engineer or similar with knowledge of Facades, Masonry support or similar who wants to move into a client-facing role with full training and development to be a delivery specialist for an award winning Global Construction company?

Step into a high-credibility role where you\'ll influence designs at concept stage. You\'ll get full training on CPDs and specification delivery, while gaining the autonomy to shape high-profile projects without sales chasing.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver CPDs and technical presentations (full training provided) to Architects, Engineers and Consultants
  • Support compliant designs across masonry support, cavity trays, lintels and facade systems
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships at design stage
  • Collaborate with the National Specification Manager and Area Sales Managers, feeding into campaigns and keeping CRM project records up to date
  • Attend key industry exhibitions and occasional evening/weekend CPD events (with overnight stays where required)

The Person
  • Technical background in facades, building envelope, masonry support or cladding (essential)
  • Could be a Technical Advisor, Technical Sales Engineer, Detailer, or Architectural Technologist ready to step up
  • Credible with architects and engineers, able to present confidently (or willing to learn)
  • Based in the Midlands/North, comfortable covering Birmingham upwards
  • Ambitious, relationship-led, and commercially aware
