Tesco UK is looking for a Project Manager to coordinate the Payroll Technology programme, ensuring successful delivery while managing risks and dependencies. The role involves improving delivery methodologies and maintaining strong collaboration across teams. This position supports flexible working arrangements, combining office collaboration and remote work.
There are an increasing number of valuable, interdependent pieces of work within the Colleague domain that require co-ordination. The Payroll technology team are responsible for the payroll applications that we use to pay colleagues across the globe. There are a variety of programmes in progress at any one time in order to step change how we pay and reward colleagues. These range from very large, complex multi-year programmes, to smaller discrete projects.
This role will have responsibility for the delivery of the iterative capabilities within the Payroll Technology programme, co-ordinating with partners across Technology & the business. Working with other TPMs, Product, Engineering and third parties to help deliver the roadmap, in particular ensuring new pieces are correctly understood (in terms of scope, value, cost, resources and design), prioritised and resourced appropriately by the right forum of decision makers and consistently tracked. Strategic alignment & dependency management are critical skills to deliver this. Some examples of this work include the review & potential implementation of capabilities into Distribution and iteration of existing capabilities within our Stores.
