Technical Architect

Hybrid role

Are you passionate about technology and eager to design innovative solutions that shape the future?

My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Azure Cloud Technical Architect to join their team and lead the way in crafting robust, scalable, and efficient systems that meet the needs of stakeholders.

As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.

You will oversee the design and implementation of software systems, ensure alignment with architectural standards, and provide technical leadership to development teams.

Your expertise will drive the success of projects and ensure the quality of deliverables.

The company is based in North West London, and you must be able/willing to work on-site three days a week.

The role is varied and will include:

  1. Providing technical input into the IT infrastructure road-map,
  2. Serving as a technical design authority across both infrastructure and business-led projects,
  3. Producing designs across both infrastructure and business-led projects,
  4. Building infrastructure proof of concepts as required for the road-map,
  5. Ensuring projects are aligned with the wider enterprise architecture as part of the IT Strategy,
  6. Identifying IT infrastructure opportunities for innovation based on technical knowledge, best practices, and industry trends,
  7. Acting as a point of resolution for 3rd level technical issues,
  8. Collaborating with third-party suppliers and partners to implement architectural changes in IT Infrastructure,
  9. Maintaining a knowledge base of emerging technologies and products,
  10. Leveraging vendor relationships to increase awareness of technology trends and assess potential benefits.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • In-depth Azure cloud knowledge, preferably Azure Solutions Architect, with certification (AZ303+AZ304),
  • Experience facilitating meetings with project stakeholders to capture requirements,
  • Experience in logical and physical design of secure, efficient, resilient IT architectures,
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically Windows Server, AD, ISA Server, and Microsoft Security methodologies,
  • Experience developing and documenting necessary Security policies and procedures.
