A local council in Essex is seeking a Technical Officer to provide first-line technical support and improve service desk processes. The successful candidate will work with Microsoft technologies and must have strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include resolving technical issues, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with a Technical Analyst. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to learn and progress within a motivated IT team.
Permanent Position (37 hours per week)
Grade D (SCP19 - 23)per annum
Yearly Salary: 27759 - 30768

Working in the Councils IT Team and moving towards an integrated One Team you will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, challenges and opportunities to upskill. Acting as an ambassador for the Team – you will be part of a motivated and forward-thinking technology team.
Brentwood and Rochford Councils have joined and are working together to create One Team for two Councils. The role continues to evolve as the Council implements its transformation agenda.
