An exciting opportunity has arisen to join aworld leading, well-established manufactureras aTechnical Engineer. The company is expanding its technical team to supportnew product developmentandcontinuous improvement initiatives. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking engineer looking to join a dynamic team experiencing sustained growth.

The Role

• Supporting CI initiatives, including material and product testing.
• Collaborating with the wider teamsto verify the feasibility of new materials, processes, and products.
• Provide hands-on support to the wider team during the introduction of new products and process changes, maintaining essential technical documentation.
• Act as the link in product and process innovation, ensuring that new materials and products can be successfully developed and implemented across the business.
• Taking ownership of projects from initiation to on-time completion and within scope.
• Working within quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.
• Ensuring compliance of products

The Person

• Ideally hold arecognised qualification in mechanical engineering
• Proven mechanical engineering experience with a additional experience in material and product testing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work relationships across teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
