A governmental agency in Dundee is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager for a fixed-term role of 23 months. You will be responsible for leading delivery teams, ensuring project outcomes, and managing diverse stakeholders. The position requires strong experience in team management and communication, as well as the ability to navigate complex government processes. This role offers a salary range of £45,894 to £54,952, plus a £5,000 annual pay supplement after a qualifying period.
We currently have a Fixed Term Appointment opportunity for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our Digital Services team for 23 months. This role will suit someone who is confident taking accountability for the performance of a delivery team and ensuring outcomes are achieved.
At this level, you will build and maintain teams, making sure they are motivated, collaborating effectively, and focused on delivering digital services. You will identify and remove obstacles, keep delivery momentum, and prioritise what matters most.
You will work in line with Social Security Scotland’s delivery strategy and project management principles, and closely with a range of internal technical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. You will have responsibility for coordinating the delivery of digital products and services across key platforms, ensuring technology is used to deliver high-quality business services for clients and colleagues.
The complexity and scope of delivery will vary depending on the programme or service area, but in every case, you will play a central role in ensuring successful delivery across the Agency’s portfolio of change.

This post is part of the Scottish Government Digital, Data and Technology (DDAT) profession and as a member of the profession you will join the professional development system. This post currently attracts a £5,000 annual DDAT pay supplement, applicable after a 3 months competency qualifying period. The payment will be backdated to your start date in the role. Pay supplements are reviewed regularly and there is one currently underway. Changes will be communicated when the review is concluded.
