Job summary

Overview

A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a professional, motivated and caring Team Secretary to work 4 days a week (0.8 WTE) within our South Admin Team, providing efficient, effective and confidential secretarial and senior administrative support to Community Mental Health Teams based at Swallownest Court.

Apprenticeship Opportunity

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH offers this post alongside the opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the initial liaison contact for staff, handling referrals, correspondence and dissemination of information.
  • Participate in ensuring efficient day‑to‑day management of the administration office, including booking meetings, events and meeting rooms.
  • Administer and take notes at multi‑disciplinary meetings, ensuring actions are communicated.
  • Collaborate with the Administration Manager and Development Support Team on monitoring data quality issues and data cleansing.
  • Supervise Band 2 Receptionist/Call Handlers where appropriate.
Qualifications & Training

Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject is required. Apprenticeships include regular training with a college or training organisation; around 20% of working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
