  • Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care to individuals experiencing at-risk mental states and first episode psychosis.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines and partner agencies to meet the holistic needs of patients.
  • Provide clinical supervision, support, and leadership to staff within the team.
  • Support the development of services in line with the Trust's strategy and best practice guidelines.
  • Maintain a small clinical caseload, retaining professional accountability and responsibility for care provided.
  • Ensure performance targets, quality standards, and reporting requirements are achieved.
Job description
Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team, providing care to patients with at-risk mental states and first episode psychosis. The Somerset Team for Early Psychosis (STEP) delivers services countywide through a hub-and-spoke model. As Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of the team, ensuring delivery of high-quality care in line with agreed objectives and Trust standards. Alongside the Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to staff, while also maintaining a small clinical caseload. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance is required, as the role covers the whole county.
