Warehouse Team Manager - Back Shift

£32,200 – £39,560 per annum plus great benefits.

Back shift: 2 pm – 10 pm, 5 days over 7, including weekends.

39 hours per week – Permanent, Full time.

The Co‑operative Retail Logistics, Wincanton PLC – St. Helens, WA9 5AU.

Responsibilities

• Manage a sizeable team of warehouse operatives.
• Inspire, engage and coach the team to be highly efficient.
• Work towards tight deadlines and critical measures.
• Develop and build positive relationships with various internal business partners.
• Drive warehouse standards, procedures and policies – particularly health and safety.
• Analyse performance data.
• Identify areas to improve process within your team and the warehouse operations.
• Plan and organise the delivery of your work load and that of your team.

Qualifications

• Previously managed a sizeable team, preferably from a logistics or FMCG background.
• Ability to work at pace and accuracy.
• Great track record of reaching and exceeding critical performance measures.
• Excellent knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Strong planning skills and ability to organise own and team workload.
• Understanding of how poor service can impact stores and customers.
• Strong, confident communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills.
