A regional health service provider is seeking a qualified candidate to lead a multi-disciplinary team providing mental health care in the community. This role requires a valid UK driving licence and involves responsibilities such as managing a team, care coordination for forensic clients, and attending meetings to represent the service. Experience in a mental health or forensic setting is desired, along with strong leadership abilities.
Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB).
In this role you will work with the multi-disciplinary Forensic Outreach and Liaison (FOL) Service and, in conjunction with other statutory and non-statutory services, provide assessment and treatment for people with mental disorder/illness who have offended or are at risk of offending. The service is provided in the community across Kent and Medway, and works closely with inpatient teams in secure hospitals to ensure the safe and efficient discharge of patients to the community.
FOLS is a community service based in the medium secure unit at the Trevor Gibbens Unit in Maidstone. The team works across Kent and Medway and collaborates with other services to provide care.
