A multi-disciplinary healthcare provider in Maidstone is seeking a committed leader for the Forensic Outreach and Liaison Service. This full-time role involves overseeing a team of practitioners, managing a small caseload of forensic clients, and ensuring high standards of care. Ideal candidates will have management experience and a minimum of 4 years in mental health service delivery. In this role you will work with the multi-disciplinary Forensic Outreach and Liaison (FOL) Service and, in conjunction with other statutory and non-statutory services, provide assessment and treatment for people with mental disorder/illness who have offended or are at risk of offending. The service is provided in the community across Kent and Medway, and works closely with inpatient teams in secure hospitals to ensure safe and efficient discharge of patients to the community.
You will lead a team of Mental Health Practitioners, Support Time Recovery Workers and Peer Support Worker, ensuring high standards of care and providing leadership to the multi-disciplinary team within the FOLS. You will be required to be part of the managers on-call rota. The post holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
