Overview

Are you an experienced senior Warehouse Operative looking to take a next step in your career? Perhaps you’re already acting in a managing role but want a new challenge? Whatever the reason, we have a great position for you!

Due to ongoing growth, we now have the exiting opportunity to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader - Nights to join our GXO team in busy multiuser site at Sherburn-In-Elmet. You’ll provide leadership and guidance for your warehouse team, ensuring that the team have all the tools they need to do their tasks, and that the operation runs smoothly.

This is a full-time, permanent role, with a shift pattern 4 on 4 off, 7pm to 7am - Nigths

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,080 per annum (Inclusive of nights allowance) and 23 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
  • You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
  • You’ll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers
