As a Team Leader - Nights at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting the home management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference. You will create a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Main duties of the job

Your focus as Team Leader will be to support the home management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Other responsibilities will include leading in the person-centred care planning process, assisting in the smooth transition of any discharges from the home, and leading with monitoring the well-being of each resident.

  • Leadingwithmonitoringthewell-being of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingcare and care planning andensuring that changing needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
  • Practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks and moving and handling of residents, by assessing risks and having due regard for personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
