Responsibilities
  • Leading the shift and ensuring high standards of care and conduct at all times.
  • Supporting care planning, assessments, and contributing to care reviews.
  • Organising and participating in educational, social, and recreational activities, including outings and holidays.
  • Liaising with external professionals and agencies alongside senior management.
  • Ensuring accurate and detailed record-keeping, including delegating written tasks and signing them off as Team Leader.
  • Promoting best practices in line with the home’s Statement of Purpose (SOP) and company policies.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People (NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent).
  • Over two years of experience supporting young people in a children’s residential setting.
Desired Criteria
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence – preferred.

Location: Tarleton, Lancashire | Pay: £14.50/hr + £60 sleep‑in | Shifts: 2 on / 4 off.
