Newby and Scalby Academy – Teaching/Care Assistant (Part‑time, Temporary)

Newby and Scalby Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching / Care Assistant to join our academy as soon as possible. This role provides one‑to‑one personal and special educational support to pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support for pupils with additional needs.
• Deliver special educational and/or medical support to ensure successful engagement and access to learning.
• Maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.

Working Hours

32.5 hours per week – Term Time only plus 5 days (Term Time Only plus 5 Days) – Temporary.
