Moorhill Primary School is looking for two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Grade 3, Level 2) on a fixed‑term contract until July 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering high‑quality learning experiences.
  • Provide small‑group and 1:1 support to children, including those with additional needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting children’s social and emotional development.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting (ideally Early Years and Key Stage 1).
  • Knowledge or experience of SEND and SEMH.
  • Excellent communication skills; caring, patient, resilient.
  • Team player who can use initiative to support children’s individual needs.

Salary

£18,984 - £19,283.

Working Hours

32.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 38 weeks plus 5 Inset days – 39 weeks.
