Overview

St Anthony's is an outstanding special school that caters for pupils aged 4-16 years with complex learning needs. The school is highly regarded in the community. Currently the school is one of the lead schools in 'Novio' which is part of the West Sussex SEN hub initiative supporting pupils with SEND in mainstream education.

  • Salary: £17,871 per year
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: 30 hours per week term time only + 1 weeks INSET

Responsibilities

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistants to support students\' learning. The Teaching Assistant will work alongside staff in the Secondary Department to support pupils with complex needs in the classroom, in small groups and on an individual basis. An interest and/or experience in working with Autism would be desirable. They will also undertake a range of administrative tasks that support the teaching and learning within the school. In their application, candidates should indicate their areas of curriculum interest.
