A local special school in Chichester is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to support learners with complex needs. The role involves working alongside staff and supporting students in individual and small group settings, as well as undertaking administrative tasks. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a commitment to personalized learning and have skills in working with challenging young people. This is a permanent role requiring 30 hours of work per week during term time.
St Anthony's is an outstanding special school that caters for pupils aged 4-16 years with complex learning needs. The school is highly regarded in the community. Currently the school is one of the lead schools in 'Novio' which is part of the West Sussex SEN hub initiative supporting pupils with SEND in mainstream education.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistants to support students\' learning. The Teaching Assistant will work alongside staff in the Secondary Department to support pupils with complex needs in the classroom, in small groups and on an individual basis. An interest and/or experience in working with Autism would be desirable. They will also undertake a range of administrative tasks that support the teaching and learning within the school.
