Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Level 2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil with complex needs on a full-time fixed-term supply basis in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This role requires someone confident, nurturing, and experienced in supporting pupils with additional needs.

Job Requirements
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally in a 1:1 capacity
  • Ability to follow personalised learning plans and targets
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident supporting complex needs
  • Strong communication skills with staff and families
  • Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil throughout the school day
  • Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and personal development
  • Prepare resources and support with daily routines
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to support progress
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere
