Join Our Team as an SEN Teacher - Make a Lasting Impact!

Hourly Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE) - This is case dependant
Location: Surrey Heath and surrounding areas
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 am-4:30 pm (flexible working)
Role Focus: One-to-One Teaching for SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teachers ready to inspire, motivate, and empower young learners with diverse needs. In this role, you will provide tailored academic and emotional support to students facing challenges such as Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, and medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Create Safe Spaces: Foster a supportive, nurturing environment where students feel confident to take risks and grow academically.
  • Personalise Learning: Develop and implement bespoke educational plans that address each student's unique needs and strengths.
  • Support Families: Collaborate closely with families to extend learning beyond the classroom and build a strong support network.
  • Inspire Growth: Deliver engaging, empathetic lessons that boost self-esteem, resilience, and academic achievement.
  • Be a Role Model: Lead by example, promoting positive behaviours and values that encourage personal development and lifelong learning.
What You Bring
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
  • Minimum two years' teaching experience
  • Proven expertise delivering Maths, English, and Science aligned with the UK curriculum
  • Experience across Key Stages 1 to 4
  • Strong proficiency in English and experience working with students with SEN
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and the legal right to work in the UK
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding policies
