A forward-thinking academy in East Lindsey is seeking an inspiring Teacher of Science to engage students in physics, chemistry, and biology. The role involves delivering dynamic lessons and fostering a love of science among students. Ideal candidates will have Qualified Teacher Status and a passion for transforming young minds. With extensive professional development opportunities and a supportive team, this position offers a highly competitive salary along with the chance to inspire the next generation.
We are looking for an inspiring Teacher of Science who can bring curiosity to life and spark the imaginations of the next generation of thinkers, tinkerers, and trailblazers.
Teaching science is a bit like running a magic show, except your tricks are real, the audience is allowed to ask “why?” every five seconds, and sometimes the laws of thermodynamics ruin your punchline. It’s part performance, part coaching, part troubleshooting, and part cheerleading for curiosity.
From atomic bonds before lunch to ecosystems after, every day will keep you (and your students) on your toes!
Our Academy is a fantastic place to teach and learn. We’re a forward-thinking, Ofsted “Good” school, and our Year 7 intake has been oversubscribed for three years running; a testament to our growing reputation.
We’re incredibly proud of our journey so far and are looking for a brilliant science educator to join us. Our vision is clear : every student has the opportunity to climb the stairway to university, or a real alternative, and lead a fulfilling and happy life.
We believe in high expectations, structured support, and the power of great teaching to help every child achieve their full potential.
Whether you’re an ECT ready to start your teaching journey or an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge, this is your chance to inspire, innovate, and make a real impact.
