Location: MOD Base, Cyprus

Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term

Start Date:Immediate, subject to MOD Security Clearance (approx. 1 month)

Working Pattern: 3 Days per Week

Reed Education is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and qualified Teacher of Music to join a Ministry of Defence (MOD) school in Cyprus. This role offers a unique chance to teach British pupils abroad, within a secure and supportive environment.

About the Role:

You will be teaching Key Stage 3 Music, across 9 classes per week, with up to 20 pupils per class. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that align with the UK curriculum and prepare students for standard UK assessments.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)no exceptions
  • Experience teaching Music at KS3 level within the UK curriculum
  • Willingness to undergo an MOD Security Check (facilitated by us; approx. 1 month)
  • Disclosure of any medical requirements, as some may not be supported by army medical centres

Accommodation & Lifestyle:

Teachers will be accommodated in the Army Mess on base, offering a secure and community-focused living arrangement. Alternative options such as hotels or AirBnB may be considered. Daily lunch is provided, and flights to and from Cyprus are fully covered.
