Job description
Overview

The Oxford Academy is seeking to appoint an excellent and energetic Maths teacher who is truly passionate about the subject and can inspire students and instil a love of learning. You would be responsible for delivering excellent lessons, pastoral care for our students and contributing to the wider school community. The ability to teach A-level is desirable but not essential. A targeted retention incentive payment is available for qualifying Maths teachers at The Oxford Academy.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that promote deep understanding and attainment for all students.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students as part of the wider school community.
  • Collaborate with a team of maths specialists and instructional coaches to develop teaching practice and student outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and participate in CPD opportunities within the multi-academy trust.
  • Maintain high expectations of themselves and others, and foster positive relationships with students and families.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified teacher of Maths with demonstrable track record of teaching and improving pupil outcomes.
  • Desirable: ability to teach A-level.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and raising attainment for all students.
