St Andrew's is a flourishing, forward‑thinking, co‑educational IAPS prep school preparing its 315+ pupils for a range of senior schools, both locally and nationally. A number of children win scholarships to their senior schools, moving on to the likes of Abingdon, Bradfield, St Edward's, Pangbourne, Downe House, Marlborough, The Oratory and Radley College.
The post involves teaching Years 5-8, preparing pupils for a range of senior school assessments, including the Pre‑Senior Baccalaureate (PSB) and 13+ scholarship.
It would be advantageous if the post holder could offer extra‑curricular activities and/or have the ability to coach games. Applicants must be willing to undergo child‑protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and a successful enhanced DBS check with the Disclosure and Barring Services.
Closing date: Friday 5th December 2025 at 9.00 am. Interviews will follow the week commencing 8th December. Early applications are encouraged; the School will interview and appoint earlier if the right candidate comes forward.
