Are you passionate about shaping young minds and enabling students to develop a understanding and passion for the dynamic world of law?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated law teacher to join our experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team within an outstanding sixth form college.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be able to deliver inspiring lessons which will engage our students and encourage them to achieve their potential. The successful candidate will teach A level Law as well as Applied Law courses at Level 3. The ability to contribute to law elements of other courses within the business area at level 2 and 3 would be an advantage.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level. Whilst previous post-16 experience is an advantage, it is not essential. Many of our staff have joined us from a pre-16 environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who has been working in schools to move into post-16 education. We also offer a Graduate Teacher route through the University of Brighton and would consider applications from graduates who are looking for a career in teaching.

Working Conditions

This is a full time role but part time would be considered to the right candidate. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible but at the latest April 2026.

The successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College. Candidates are required to complete an application form and provide a covering letter. Please be aware that an online search is completed as part of the application process in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education requirements.

Closing Date and Interviews

Closing date 10 December 2025 9.00am. Interviews will be held on Monday 15th December or Tuesday 16th December.
