Overview

Teacher of English – Wigston, Leicestershire. Permanent position. Salary: TMS/UPS £31,650 to £49,084 (Pay award pending). Employer: Wigston Academies Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 with mixed ability cohorts.
  • Focus on student progress, inspire a passion for English, and maintain strong classroom management with differentiation.
  • Contribute to a supportive, collaborative department and use current curricula effectively.
  • There is an additional TLR opportunity for the right candidate, negotiable based on experience.
  • Support CPD activities and engage with development opportunities offered by the Trust.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • Suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
  • Experience or ability to teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5 is advantageous.
