Role responsibilities

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a well resourced and supportive secondary school in the Medway area to recruit a Teacher of Drama and Performing Arts. The role will be an equal split of teaching both subjects so applicants must have experience or be comfortable teaching across both curriculums. The role is to start in January 2026, full time with a salary of between £32,916 and £51,047 depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Proven experience of teaching both Drama and Performing Arts to KS5 within a secondary school setting
  • QTS desirable but not essential
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
