Teacher of Chemistry (0.5/0.6 FTE) - Wirral
Start Date: November 2025
Contract: Part-time (0.5/0.6 timetable) fixed term for one year
Location: High School, Wirral

People Dynamix Education are proud to be supporting a high school in the Wirral in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join their Science Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist who can inspire a love of learning and make a real impact on student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to deliver Biology up to KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that support students of all abilities.
• Contribute positively to the Science Department and wider school community.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to raising attainment.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Chemistry and Biology to secondary students.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners.
• A flexible, professional, and collaborative approach.
