Job description

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an experienced 0.4 FTE Teacher of A-Level English Language to join the Sixth Form provision at Windsor College. This fixed-term post runs until 3 July 2026, with the potential to become full-time and permanent in the following academic year. The salary for this role ranges from T1 12,453.20 to T,936.40 ( 31,133 to 44,481 FTE), which is dependent on skills and experience.

Teacher of A-Level English Language

The successful candidate will have a strong background in post-16 English Language and the expertise to deliver linguistics-based content, preparing students for both external examinations and non-examined assessment at A-level.

The role involves teaching 10.5 core hours per week, covering areas such as Child Language Acquisition, Language in the Media, Language Change, advanced language analysis, comparative spoken and written texts, and topical language issues. In addition, the postholder will support students with exam preparation and coursework. Teaching takes place on Tuesday and Thursday from 08:45 to 12:15, and Friday from 12:45 to 16:15.
