Primary Teacher

Location: Alfreton
Pay: £150-£232.57 per day
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time (January 2026-Christmas)
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

About the Role

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Alfreton to recruit a passionate and qualified Primary Teacher for a full‑time position. This role will involve covering classes across KS1 classes throughout the academic year.

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ progress. Planning will be required for longer‑term cover, but resources and support will be provided.

  • Supporting pupil progress and engagement
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
