The headteacher of a SEMH special needs School in central Sheffield are looking to recruit several Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistants. This would be within the classroom setting so general Teaching Assistant work would be part of the daily routine as well. Learners do display challenging behaviour and therefore the school require Teaching Assistants who are trained in Team Teach to use de‑escalation techniques to manage these behaviour traits.
Full time role for the remainder of this academic year at least
Mon to Fri - 8.20am to 3.45pm
Working with multiple learners with ASC and SEMH support needs
Experience of supporting students with ASC needed
Ability to manage challenging behaviours
Working as a close team
Clear and concise communication tools written and spoken
Well supported Primary School
