Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Tax Technology Manager to join our growing tax team, which provides strategic and hands‑on tax support across 50+ countries. Locations: London, United Kingdom | Madrid, Spain | Tallinn, Estonia

As a Tax Technology Manager, you will work closely with Tax, Finance, Commerce, Engineering and other teams to ensure that our systems and tools support our business goals while maintaining tax compliance across jurisdictions. This role drives the transformation of tax processes through technology and automation, helping the tax function scale efficiently across a growing international footprint. Working cross‑functionally, you will turn complex tax and reporting requirements into practical, well‑governed systems and processes.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Improve and automate tax processes: Identify opportunities to streamline, standardise and automate tax processes, reducing manual work, improving data quality and controls, and increasing efficiency across the tax function.
  • Digital tax reporting support: Support compliance with mandatory digital tax reporting, billing and other similar requirements (such as e‑invoicing, fiscalisation, SAF‑T), working with internal teams and external partners to implement fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
  • Support tax risk and governance: Help map existing tax processes and data flows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and support the implementation of practical controls and improvements to strengthen tax risk management and governance.
  • Drive change across teams: Work closely with Tax, Finance, Commerce, Engineering and other teams to understand current ways of working, align on priorities, and deliver practical, value‑adding process and technology improvements.
About you:
  • You bring 6+ years of experience in tax technology, tax operations, tax transformation, or a related field, ideally within a multi‑jurisdictional environment.
  • You have a solid understanding of core tax processes, including VAT/GST and related data flows, with exposure to other tax areas such as direct taxes, transfer pricing, Pillar Two, or digital platform reporting considered a strong advantage.
  • You have proven experience improving end‑to‑end processes, with the ability to understand cross‑functional workflows, identify inefficiencies or control gaps, and drive scalable, sustainable improvements.
  • You have hands‑on experience with tax and finance systems, such as tax engines, ERP systems, workflow or project management tools, and/or data transformation tools; experience with analytics or data visualisation is a plus.
  • You demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver high‑quality outcomes against deadlines.
  • You have a good understanding of accounting fundamentals and IT terminology, enabling effective collaboration with finance and engineering stakeholders.
  • Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. Even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying if you feel you’re the kind of person described above!
