Job summary

A dynamic independent firm is seeking a Tax disputes/Tax Investigations specialist with at least 5 years of experience in tax investigations. The successful candidate will work closely with the departmental head to expand the department and handle interesting cases, while also mentoring junior team members. This role offers opportunities for promotion and can be based in the Leeds or Manchester office, or remotely for more senior hires. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Tax Investigation.
• Detailed understanding of HMRC disclosure options.
• Experience in handling investigations involving individuals.

Responsibilities

• Work with the departmental head to grow the department.
• Review disclosure reports prepared by junior members.
• Handle a caseload of tax disputes.

Education

Professionally qualified / part qualified (AAT / ATT / ACA / ACCA / CTA)
