Working as part of a highly skilled finance team, you’ll take ownership of direct tax reporting and compliance for multiple business units, ensuring accurate and timely outputs for both UK and ROI requirements. The role offers excellent scope to get involved in strategic group reporting, international tax projects, and systems/process improvement initiatives.

The Role

• Prepare and review corporation tax computations and quarterly instalment payments.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting to HMRC/Revenue and to group finance overseas.
• Support statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and periodic tax postings.
• Contribute to Country-by-Country reporting, Pillar 2 analysis, and Senior Accounting Officer administration.
• Partner with finance colleagues across business units to ensure consistency and best practice.
• Play a key role in cross-functional projects, bringing technical tax expertise to wider business initiatives.
• Coach and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

The Person

• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA or ATT)
• Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience in corporation tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Advanced IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with experience of ERP systems (SAP desirable).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• A proactive team player who can challenge processes and drive improvement.
• Experience in SOX, US GAAP, or transfer pricing would be advantageous.
