Overview:

Our client, a growing international services business, is seeking to hire a qualified Tax Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CTA/ATT). The successful candidate will report to the Head of Tax and Compliances and will be responsible for delivering all aspects of tax advisory and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide UK tax compliance services including preparation of personal tax returns, amendments, and dealing with related issues and queries.
  2. Maintain and reconcile the partners’ tax return database, tracking the progress and status of tax returns.
  3. Assist with bi-annual tax payments to HMRC.
  4. Collaborate with the Partnership Accountant on tax reserves and partner current accounts.
  5. Communicate with HMRC regarding partners’ tax affairs and assist with enquiries.
  6. Engage in tax discussions and meetings with partners, including retiring and newly appointed partners.
  7. Assist in preparing partnership tax computations and reviewing corporation tax returns, including analysis of accounting entries and calculations.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert on legislation, advising on ad-hoc tax queries such as withholding tax, employment tax, and VAT.
  9. Assist with PSA calculations and VAT return reviews to ensure compliance.
  10. Review and ensure compliance with IR35 regulations.
  11. Participate in training and self-development activities.
  12. Support other finance department duties as required.

A salary of £50,000-£60,000 is offered, along with benefits.
