A community-focused care organization is seeking a Talent & People Apprentice to support recruiting efforts. This is a full-time role with full training provided. Ideal candidates should have a good standard of secondary education and a genuine desire to help the community. You'll gain experience in HR processes and have the opportunity to achieve a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification. The role involves preparing job ads, maintaining applicant tracking systems, and engaging in recruitment activities.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Location: New Milton
Start Date : October 2025

As this is an apprenticeship no experience is required as we will give youfull training !
To be eligible for the apprenticeship you will need the following:
You will be a person that enjoys a busyoffice environment, we have a great, positive and supportive team who are mix of remote office and hybrid workers. Do to the support you will require this will start as office based and hybrid will be considered as you progress!
You will have anexcellent standard of IT skills working on Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Planner. You will be great at problem solving with a keen eye for detail
The Talent & People Apprentice will support the Talent & People team in recruiting high-quality employees. It is essential to ensure we remain a highly competitive and diverse business.
As a Talent & People Apprentice, you will act as a focal point for recruitment and the people team. You will be responsible for maintaining the applicant tracking system (Team Tailor) and HRIS (Cezanne) for the purpose of collation and input of candidate and employee data.
Day to Day Activities
Preparation of job advertisements
Reviewing applications and CVs in line with screening matrices.
Assessing and reviewingcandidate assessments through Test Gorilla (online skills testing and training)
Ensure job applicants are kept up to date at all stages of the recruitment process ensuring they are correspondence with at each stage (CV screening, interview booking, after interview feedback if applicable, offer letter etc.)
Support recruitment events at schools, colleges etc.
Ensure relevant security screening checks are completed for candidates offered job roles (right to work, employment references, DBS, driving licence checks etc.)
Ensure the careers mailbox is managed on a daily basis providing excellent customer service
The post would be suitable for a candidate entering the Human Resources sector, looking to achieve a Level 3 apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Level 3 details
The CIPD HR Support Apprenticeship L3, 18-24 months duration dependent on individual learner progression (with the possibility of the position being made permanent on successful completion of the programme). Your apprenticeship studies through the apprenticeship provider Babington, will take place remotely however you will be based within our New Milton offices. You will have an opportunity to achieve the CIPD L3 qualification as part of your learning programme. Successful completion of this standard will enable you to apply for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
