Job description
Overview

Redmayne Bentley are creating a new team to focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and we are looking for someone with strong Power Platform experience to help this new team achieve its goals.

This is an opportunity for someone who has been a part of a big team and now wants the opportunity to be recognised as a firm-wide expert in this field. You will be instrumental in the success of this team, not just a small cog within a big machine.

You will leverage your technical knowledge and expertise to integrate Power Platform with our Azure services and connect any applications with Microsoft 365 whilst also implementing secure API connections with any third-party systems. You will be building automation solutions using the information and process documentation provided by our Automation Developers and Business Analyst - collaborating closely with them, as well as other departmental colleagues to ensure these solutions meet their requirements.

The most common tasks you will be responsible for are:

  • Application Support and Debugging.
  • Integration Management.
  • Designing, developing and testing robust automation solutions.
  • Creating scripts, bots, or workflows using products to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Validating automation outcomes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Researching new technologies, methodologies and development best practices to ensure that inhouse developed solutions are using the best technology possible.

This role will suit someone who is an expert in Power Platform and wants the opportunity to be involved in establishing a new team solely focused on automation solutions.

This isn't a static or siloed role - this is a role that will develop with you, with support to further grow your skills and understanding as part of a wider team that are open and honest, sharing knowledge and developing each other, and always looking to improve the way we work.

This is not a client-facing role, your main communications will be with IT colleagues, third-party providers, and team members from across the firm.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Expert knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in Power BI report development.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse and data modelling.
  • Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., UIPath, PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience of using AI technologies in Power Platform processes.
  • Industrial certifications or charterships such as Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200), Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400), Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect (PL-600) or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
