Systems Engineer – All Levels

About the Role:

At Leonardo, we solve real-world engineering challenges by designing and developing mission-critical solutions for advanced defence and security systems. We are seeking Systems Engineers at all levels to contribute to impactful projects.

Your Potential Contributions:

  • Develop radar systems for fighter jets like the Typhoon and SAAB Gripen
  • Work on GCAP – Future Generation Radar & Electro-Optical Targeting products
  • Contribute to Infra-Red Counter Measures (IRCM) systems
  • Design laser target designators and ranging systems
  • Engage with Surveillance AESA radars

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Problem definition and systems thinking
  • Systems architecture and modelling using MBSE, Simulink, MATLAB
  • Data processing, signal/image processing, and data fusion
  • Integration, testing, and validation of systems
  • Collaboration, leadership, and mentorship abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Define system requirements and architecture
  • Simulate and analyse system performance
  • Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop and refine solutions
