Job description

MBDA's Data Link Centre of Excellence systems design team is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the delivery of advanced Data Link electronics.

Salary: Up to £50k depending on experience + bonus + benefits.

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload requirements.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions related to nationality and/or work rights may apply. Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG BPSS checks, managed by the MBDA Security Team.

Your role involves system design, verification and validation, certification support, and technical management, collaborating with international teams and subject matter experts.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience in systems engineering, especially in complex hardware, firmware, and software systems
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering, SysML, and tools like IBM DOORS and Rhapsody
• A desire to develop your systems engineering skills and improve team methods
• Experience managing engineering work packages and coordinating with other teams
• Ability to engage with subject matter experts and learn new technical areas

Desirable skills include RF systems/electronics knowledge, familiarity with configuration control systems, and experience across multiple lifecycle phases.
