A technology services company in the UK is seeking a Systems Engineer to enhance their payroll systems. The role involves resolving customer queries, supporting systems testing, and improving processes. Ideal candidates should have a background in systems administration with experience in regression testing, and familiarity with tools such as VB .NET and SQL. Offering a hybrid work model, the position provides opportunities for professional growth along with a competitive salary between £26,500 and £27,500 annually.
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your systems administration skills in a role that will support your growth and help fulfil your ambition? Then we have just the opportunity for you! As our new Systems Engineer, you'll play a key part in making sure our systems continue to work as they should. That means regression testing tools, checking the data flowing in and out, reviewing results and automated emails, and flagging anything that doesn't quite look right. The information these systems produce feeds directly into the pay cycle, so your attention to detail helps make sure things like expense claims are processed accurately and fairly. This hybrid role offers a fantastic work life balance by predominantly being based from home and only needing to visit our modern and recently refurbished offices in Southampton on a monthly basis.
