Specialising in delivering leading edge consultancy to clients with high-risk business operations, along with a range of security services and products relied upon throughout the Private and Public Sector. Our existing programmes of work are expanding rapidly, and we have urgent requirements for a Systems Engineer, to enable us to continue to deliver at an accelerated rate. Ideally you will have current or recent experience working in a government security advisory role, either within Defence or Security organisations. About You You will join the growing technical architecture practice, delivering secure IT services and systems to clients, deploying engineering skills across a delivery lifecycle to suit the needs of the client. From inception and requirements analysis, architecture development, design, engineering implementation and testing, the projects we work on demand on a flexible and dynamic approach, drawing on your experience to drive the team’s outcomes successfully. As an experienced Systems Engineer, you will be comfortable working as part of a team, whilst also delivering outcomes individually where, the client requires specialist support matching your skillset and delivery experience. Strong communication skills, an acute attention to detail and a strong focus on quality are essential to ensure our clients continue to trust in our expertise. Our reputation to deliver is at the heart of what we do. Your responsibilities will include leading analysis of the delivery objectives, business drivers and user requirements, shaping the delivery strategy, collaborating with users, business analysts and architects to develop architecture models and technical specifications. Interaction with a range of stakeholders to progress in a truly collaborative manner is essential, as delivery can be very dynamic and cross many stages of a project lifecycle. You will also have responsibility for developing test and integration plans, considering all components of an effective capability, aspects of specialist engineering disciplines and the overall approach to verification and validation. In these projects, adapting and innovating to maintain momentum and drive success on time and within resource budgets are critical skills. Within the technical architecture practice, your expertise and experience will drive the growth of core engineering skills, supporting teams to tackle complex, dynamic, and exciting project delivery. As a client facing consultant, you will seek out and support business development in conjunction with Logic’s account leads and through ongoing engagement with clients and their wider enterprise. Being a Systems Engineer, your experience and skills are valued. The opportunity to mentor and develop junior members of the Logiq team across multiple practices, bringing the rigour and systematic approach will be beneficial to consultants in each practice, improving the quality of our consultancy service in every endeavour. Essential Experience and Skills 3+ years proven experience in the systems engineer role. Experience managing, analysing, and refining requirements, collaborating with stakeholders using adaptable and appropriate communication styles. Experience developing and executing verification and validation themes within a complex technology delivery project. Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering such as ArchiMate and UML/SysML. Experience using requirements management tooling (e.g. DOORS or equivalent). Desirable Experience of working with any of Defensive Cyber, Enterprise Architecture and Secure System Design. Confident, logical problem solving, adapting to and including subject matter experts to drive whole team innovation. Experience in MOD architecture views or delivery processes. System security skills. Previous experience using agile methodologies. Previous experience in a consultancy role. Desirable Qualifications / Certifications 2.1 Engineering, computer science, or relevant technical degree. Higher degree such as MSc or Phd. INCOSE Associate, IEng or CEng Registration with a recognised professional body representing Systems Engineering. Experience using Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g TOGAF).
