Overview

We have an exciting Clerical opportunity to join our South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. Clerical Assistant vacancies are available at the following offices:

  • East Kilbride Local Office — permanent 17.5 hour post, working alternate Wednesday 08:45–16:45, Thursday 08:45–16:45, Friday 08:45–16:15
  • Cambuslang Local Office — permanent 35 hour post, Monday–Friday (Mon–Thu 08:45–16:45, Fri 08:45–16:15)
  • Jimmy Swinburne Centre/Laighstonehall Road — permanent 35 hour post, Monday–Friday (Mon–Thu 08:45–16:45, Fri 08:45–16:15)
  • Cambuslang Community Mental Health - Eastvale Resource Centre — permanent 17.5 hour post, Monday–Friday 08:45–12:15
  • Meldrum Gardens Residential Unit — permanent 35 hour post, Mon–Thu 08:45–16:45, Fri 08:45–16:15
  • Auchentibber Centre — permanent 17.5 hour post, Mon, Tue & alternate Wednesdays 08:45–16:45
  • Cambuslang Family Centre — permanent 17.5 hour post, Mon, Tue & alternate Wednesdays 08:45–16:45

You would be part of a successful, well-established administration service working in a fast-paced environment. As a Clerical Assistant you would undertake a wide variety of admin duties including data input to our social work case management system, word processing, minute taking, arranging meetings using Outlook, maintaining spreadsheets, answering and fielding phone calls, using Multi Functional Devices, scanning and indexing documents, and other general admin tasks to support operational staff.

We welcome applications from people who have excellent knowledge of IT packages. Ideally you will have experience of working as a receptionist or within an office; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
