Location: Surrey, KT2 7QB

Hours of work: 37.5

Working Pattern: 5 over 7 days

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £12.21 - £12.21

The Role
  • Handle incoming calls and face‑to‑face queries promptly and politely, maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate and maintain bleep, radio paging, ID cards, keys, and on‑call information systems.
  • Distribute calls, tasks, and reports effectively, ensuring all are completed in line with Trust and company procedures.
  • Follow emergency procedures for major incidents, fire, bomb alerts, and medical emergencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with data protection, health, safety, and company policies.
  • Attend meetings, training, and reviews, identifying personal development needs.
  • Report faults, defects, or safety concerns promptly and undertake other reasonable duties as required.
About You
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with patients, staff, and members of the public.
  • Professional, polite, and approachable manner at all times.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
  • Basic IT literacy and ability to operate telephony and paging systems (training will be provided).
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and undertake a range of duties as required.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, data protection, and delivering high standards of customer service.
  • A team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work well with colleagues and other stakeholders.
