Role: Full Time Permanent

The Role

We’re seeking a driven and commercial Senior Vice President of Quality to strategically lead our EMENA Quality function to maximise output across the region in line with business objectives operational KPIs and budget targets and in compliance with all governance standards whilst driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives aligned with our Global Quality agenda. As an active member of our Executive Leadership Team you’ll work closely with our Operations Commercial Supply Chain and New Product / Tech Transfer teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of our current and future market requirements including product portfolio volume development and new product launches and translate this into an effective Quality plan agreeing strategies to navigate market complexities and identifying any equipment investment and resource requirements to avoid bottlenecks. With a continuous improvement mindset you’ll implement a culture of best‑in‑class approaches to Quality management by integrating relevant technologies and building appropriate skills to reduce cost drive efficiencies / yield and optimise inventory to avoid write‑off and reduce lead / cycle times.

The Person
  • Significant experience of managing Quality functions in a senior‑level pharma role used to delivering results in a high volume complex global operations function.
  • Thorough technical knowledge of GxP QMS and ISO standards across the Quality lifecycle and experience of GMP accountability through MHRA licence obligations.
  • Experience of long‑range Quality planning (balancing strategic and operational) in a manufacturing environment; able to manage Capex and Opex budgets to ensure ROI.
  • Strong Leadership experience used to managing motivating and developing high performing teams across multiple locations (preferably with experience of unionised environments) with the ability to retain talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentations skills; able to relate to stakeholders at all levels and cultural backgrounds and utilise persuasion and influencing skills to support the best outcomes.
  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically in a complex business environment identifying and driving transformational change and continuous improvement.
  • Well organised able to manage multiple workstreams to deadline and maintain a good eye for detail even in a fast‑paced and changeable work environment.
  • Good IT skills across Microsoft Office with experience of Quality Management Systems.
  • Degree‑level qualification in a science subject with QP qualification.
