A local government authority in Chester is seeking a Reablement Worker to provide community-based support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves assisting clients in regaining their independence through daily living skills, goal setting, and personal care. No prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided. Being a Reablement Worker means supporting people in their own homes for a short space of time to assist them to reach their full potential. This may include managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills, setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence and confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities.
We cover a day a week service; therefore any successful candidate would be expected to work alternate weekends and bank holidays. Enhanced rates are paid for Bank Holidays, Evening and Weekend working. Various hours available. Shift patterns are:
As a provider service for adult social care, we have a number of Reablement worker opportunities within the borough, working for the local government who truly values their staff to improve the lives of our service users.
Travel is needed as part of this role; please demonstrate on your application form how you would meet this requirement.
The Reablement support worker roles include supporting people in their own homes for a short period of time to assist them to reach their full potential.
This role is community based; a driving licence is essential for this role.
Previous experience in a care setting is not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.
