Overview

Support Worker – Location: North Chailey

Salary: £24,969 - £27,169 per annum (Depending on experience) (FTE), Weekends +25% (16.23- 17.65), Bank Holidays double time (25.96 - 28.24) (Subject to change)

Vacancy Type: Permanent

Hours: 21-37 per week | You could be scheduled on any of these shifts as part of the 4-week rota.

  • Morning: 07:00-14:00
  • Late: 13:45-21:00
  • Split: 07:30-10:00 & 15:00-21:00
The Role
  • Safeguarding: Keeping everyone safe and supported
  • Health & wellbeing: Supporting eating, drinking, medication, and managing epilepsy
  • Mobility: Assisting with powered mobility and equipment
  • Intimate care: Maintaining dignity while meeting hygiene needs
  • Activities & outings: Encouraging engagement in trips, adventures, and daily activities

With the comprehensive training, you\'ll develop your skills while creating memorable, joyful experiences every day.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Has a basic understanding of physical disabilities
  • Shows empathy, patience, and positivity
  • Enjoys working with young people in activities and learning experiences
  • Can work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Bonus points if you have experience working with individuals with disabilities or a willingness to drive Foundation vehicles
