A supportive family in Bath is seeking a dedicated support worker for their teenage son with special needs. We are looking for a support worker to help our son, who has a chromosome disorder, ASD, and some learning delays. He may need a little support with things like counting money or remembering his inhaler.
Your role is all about having fun and making a difference! You’ll spend time with our son to help him enjoy activities such as:
The plan is that the role will commence approximately May 2026. Following a successful introduction, we can be flexible with the start date.
Hours: 4 hours weekly (occasional weekend).
Time: To be discussed at the interview.
Pay: £12.40 per hour.
Location: Bath.
We’re looking for people who are:
Must have an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to complete one before starting – cost covered). Previous experience supporting young adolescents with autism, chromosome disorders and some learning delays would be helpful, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
