£13.54 per hour (£60 per sleep in shift)
Part-time (Up to 32 hours per week)

What will I be supporting?
Caroline, a young lady in her mid 20s who joined Dimensions in her own supported living bungalow in 2023, is looking for an experienced female support worker to help her achieve her goals, encourage and support her in developing her independence. Caroline has autism and values structure and routine. She enjoys watching films and TV series, arts and crafts, stationery, getting nails done, eating out, and visiting attractions within the North East. She is very close to her family and maintaining this relationship is important to her. Friendly, patient and reliable support workers who take an active interest in their hobbies and activities would be wonderful matches.
Who will I be supporting?
Caroline is supported in her own bungalow. She has autism and benefits from routine, structure, and activities she enjoys. Family involvement is important to her.
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting Caroline to engage in community and home-based activities, and to learn life skills and independence within the home. Duties include prompting of personal care and providing support if required, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Caroline may experience behaviours of distress, including verbal and physical aggression, so previous experience supporting people with autism and complex behaviours is essential.
What shifts are available?
Day Shifts: 9am – 6pm
Long Day Sleep: 9am – 9am the following day (Includes £60 Sleep-In Shift)
Sleep In Shifts: 10pm – 8am
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to allow a healthy work life balance.
